Restaurant Mizlala, Tel Aviv, Israel
The rising star of the Israeli nouvelle cuisine Chef Meir Adoni made himself a huge disservice by lending his name to Mizlala, a pretentious bistro at Nahalat Benyamin 57, Tel Aviv. We booked lunch in Mizlala on Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day), inspired by good memories of Catit, a flagship restaurant of Meir Adoni. Well, the [...] -
Tapas Ahad Haam Restaurant, Tel Aviv, Israel
The Tapas Ahad Haam Restaurant of chef Jonathan Roshfeld serves Mediterranean style tapas. We paid about NIS 800 for four-person lunch including twelve diches. What dishes lack in size, they make up in taste and creativity. -
Restaurant Catit, Tel Aviv, Israel
Catit is one of the best Israeli gourmet restaurants run by chef Meir Adoni. The Catit’s cuisine is highly eclectic and very creative. Every dish is a bold mix of flavors, textures, techniques and ingredients. Lunch for four persons costed us NIS 1400, including appetizer and main dish (NIS 175), dessert (about NIS 70) and [...] -
Vienna Marriott Hotel
Rooms are somewhat shabby but spacious. Location is superb, within 10 min of walking to Stephansdom and Museum Quarter. We asked for early check-in (about 10.30 am) and late check-out (15.00 pm) and were kindly obliged. The staff is polite and attentive. Upgrade for executive package (including breakfast and internet access) is unnecessary and ridiculously [...] -

Beware of Boingo Wireless WiFi Services
Beware of Boingo Wireless WiFi services – they intentionally and systematically overcharge accounts. I subscribed for one month of Europe Plus on November 16 2012, paid $34.95 and used the service for one week in Vienna, Austria. In the first week of December I tried to cancel account, got a link to switch Europe Plus [...] -
